Board of Directors

Chairman of the Board of Trustees: Mr. Marco Filotheous
The Board of Trustees is formed in accordance with the Establishment Order for Private and Foreign Higher Education Colleges and Institutes of the year 2013, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is responsible for the academic, administrative, and financial performance of the institution. The Board elects its chairperson from among its members in accordance with the formation regulations. The Undersecretary serves as the Board’s secretary.
The Board is tasked with taking the necessary measures and decisions to achieve the institution’s objectives. Its responsibilities include:
- Setting policies and plans for the academic, administrative, and financial development of the institution.
- Attracting financial resources.
- Supervising the Financial and Administrative Committee.
- Approving the annual budget.
- Appointing the legal auditor and discussing their annual report.
- Concluding contracts and agreements.
- Approving the appointment of individuals to senior administrative positions.
- Accepting gifts, donations, endowments, and bequests, provided they do not conflict with the institution’s goals and mission.
- Approving terms of service for employees.
- Defining the duties and responsibilities of individuals in senior academic, administrative, and leadership positions.
- Determining tuition fees.
- Allocating student scholarships.
- Approving new academic programs based on the recommendation of the Academic Council.
- Issuing the institution’s financial and administrative regulations, as well as the bylaws governing the Board’s work.
Academic Councils

The Academic Council is formed in accordance with the Establishment Order for Private and Foreign Higher Education Colleges and Institutes of the year 2013, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is chaired by the Dean of the College, with the Secretary of Academic Affairs serving as the Council’s rapporteur. Its responsibilities include:
- Promoting research, authorship, and publication.
- Granting academic degrees.
- Nominating external examiners (evaluators).
- Issuing academic regulations and student conduct codes.
- Proposing admission requirements for each specialization.
- Recommending the promotion of faculty members.
- Recommending to the Board of Trustees the establishment of infrastructure for academic programs.
Finance & Administrative Committee

The Financial and Administrative Committee is formed in accordance with the Establishment Order for Private and Foreign Higher Education Colleges and Institutes of the year 2013, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, with the Dean serving as Deputy Chair, and the Undersecretary as a member and rapporteur, in addition to other members specified by the formation regulations. Its responsibilities include:
- Reviewing financial and administrative matters submitted by the Chairman of the Board or the Dean and forwarding them to the Board of Trustees.
- Preparing budget proposals and submitting them to the Board of Trustees.
Program & Coordinators Councils

A Council is formed for each program, chaired by the program coordinator and composed of full-time and part-time faculty members, based on the Establishment Order for Private and Foreign Higher Education Colleges and Institutes of the year 2013, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Program Councils are responsible for organizing the practical and administrative activities of the program.
The Council of Coordinators is established by a decision of the Dean of the College and includes the College Vice Dean, the Secretary of Academic Affairs, all program coordinators, the Librarian, the Chair of the Examinations Committee, and the Secretary of Student Affairs. It is chaired by the Dean of the College, with the College Registrar serving as its rapporteur. The Council of Coordinators is responsible for:
- Recommending to the Academic Council the granting of academic degrees and approval of results.
- Proposing topics for the Academic Council.
- Reviewing urgent academic cases and submitting recommendations to the Academic Council.
- Supervising examinations and preparing results.
